Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

SMG Auto Brokers (“SMG,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to smgcars.com and the services we provide as a licensed automotive broker.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, phone, email).
  • Vehicle and purchase details (desired make/model, budget, trade-in, timeline).
  • How you heard about us, including campaign information in links you use to reach our site.
  • Financing information you choose to share to help us secure rates.
  • Usage data from our website (device, pages viewed) via standard analytics.

How we use your information

  • To provide our brokerage services: sourcing, negotiating, financing, and delivery.
  • To communicate with you about your request and your deal.
  • To work with dealerships and lenders on your behalf, with your consent.
  • To improve our website and services.

Sharing

We share your information as needed to deliver our service (for example, with dealerships and lenders you authorize us to work with) or as required by law. We do not sell your personal information for money. We also use service providers for website analytics and advertising, as described below.

Website analytics and advertising

We use Vercel Analytics to understand website usage. On our marketing pages, we also use Google Tag Manager to run analytics and advertising cookies and pixels from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Yelp. These companies may collect information about your device and visit, such as pages viewed, campaign links, and actions like submitting a request or tapping a call or text link, to measure our ads and show you ads on other sites. Our website measurement events do not include your name, phone number, email address, or financing details. We do not run these tags on financing application, document upload, trade-in, or payment pages.

Under California law, letting advertising partners collect information for ad targeting can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information. You can opt out at any time, as described below.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out, use the “Do Not Sell or Share” button in our cookie notice or the one below. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as an opt-out. When you opt out, the page reloads and our advertising pixels no longer load on this browser; we still use analytics to understand how our website is used. Advertising cookies already set stay in your browser until they expire or you clear them. Your choice is saved in this browser, so repeat it on other browsers or devices, or if you clear your browser data. You can also manage Google ad preferences through Google My Ad Center.

Saved form drafts

Get Started saves your car preferences in this browser on your device so you can return directly to an unfinished request with your preferences prefilled. Drafts expire seven days after the last save and are cleared when you successfully submit. Your name, phone, email, and ZIP are not included in saved drafts. We do not create a lead from an unfinished draft. If your browser cannot save a draft, you can still complete the form.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing communications at any time. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. To exercise any of these, contact us at the details below.
